About

IMG_8437On June 15th, 2016 my family of 5 moved around the world from Brooklyn, New York to Bangalore, India for 2 years. (Despite how they look in this pic, the kids actually took the news very well, but more on that in Breaking the News post. Photo credit to my dear friend Andrée Scanlon). Because uncertainty scares me, I started this blog to help me process it all and share this once-in-a-lifetime adventure with the people we love back home.

Well, 2.5 years later we are still here in India, and now living in Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay, and the Bollywood capital of India.

    1. Hi there, thanks that’s so sweet! Welcome to Bangalore! I’ve been here only a year but it seems like a decade some days. This place is so interesting! I’ll have to take a look at your blog! Let me know if I can help with the settling in process at all.

  2. I just read some of your blog—so positive and well-written! Love the bit about activities to keep the kids busy on the plane and what your first few weeks in Bangalore have been like. So familiar!

  3. Hi!

I’m so glad to have stumbled upon your fabulous blog! I’m moving to Bangalore with my family (husband and two young children) next month. We are really excited but also a bit 😬. I would LOVE to pick your brain a bit about connecting with other mamas and adjusting to life in India. Maybe we could chat via email? That would be so great!

    Warmly,
